New Zealand is not as far as the distance and the travelling costs it portends. Her natural beauty compensates the traveller with amazing walks on bridges that hang above colourful lakes and warm springs; you experience endless beaches where the rainbow seems to end; you also get to see playing whales accompanying speedy boats on trips.
There are cities, which are basically green, and also post-modern cities such as Auckland and Wellington and in addition artistic cities like Napier.
New Zealanders are very sensitive about environmental matters since the 70’s. They did not permit nuclear tests within their sea space and the natives (Maori) managed to keep their family tree (wakapapa) intact and protected their language and culture.
All the above makes for an unforgettable trip to the other side of the earth, that the Maori call “the land of the white cloud” (Aotearoa).
